5 Programmes.
One Mission.
From early detection to training the next generation of care providers, every ICCA programme is designed to meet Nigerians where they are and give them the best possible chance against cancer.
Screening & Early Detection
Early detection saves lives. Our Screening & Early Detection Program brings cancer screening services closer to communities, making it easier for people to check their health and take action early. We conduct outreach screening programs and targeted campaigns for common cancers such as breast, cervical, and prostate cancer. What we do: • Community-based screening outreaches • Targeted screening campaigns • Partnerships with healthcare providers Our goal: To detect cancer at earlier, more treatable stages and reduce late diagnoses.

Awareness Campaigns
Cancer is often detected late in Nigeria not because people don't care, but because many don't know the early signs or when to seek help. Our Awareness & Community Engagement Program focuses on educating individuals, families, and communities about cancer prevention, early detection, and the importance of timely action. Through community outreach, school programs, workplace sessions, and media campaigns, we provide clear, practical information that helps people make informed health decisions. What we do: • Community awareness campaigns • School and workplace education programs • Media and digital awareness initiatives Our goal: To ensure more people recognize early warning signs and seek help before it's too late.

Patient Support & Financial Assistance
A cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming emotionally, physically, and financially. Our Patient Support & Financial Assistance Program helps individuals navigate these challenges by providing guidance, emotional support, and limited financial assistance to those in need. We focus on ensuring that patients do not delay or abandon treatment due to lack of support. What we do: • Financial support for eligible patients • Guidance on treatment pathways • Emotional and psychosocial support Our goal: To help patients access and continue care without unnecessary barriers.

Support Groups
No one should face cancer alone. Our Support Groups Program creates safe, supportive spaces where patients, survivors, and caregivers can share experiences, receive encouragement, and learn how to cope with the challenges of cancer. These sessions are facilitated by professionals and supported by peer communities. What we do: • Support group sessions • Peer-to-peer engagement • Educational discussions on coping and survivorship Our goal: To provide emotional support, reduce isolation, and strengthen resilience.

Training & Capacity Development
We believe impact grows when more people are equipped with the right knowledge. Our Training & Capacity Development Program empowers teachers, healthcare workers, volunteers, and community leaders to recognize early signs of cancer and guide others toward proper care. By building a network of trained individuals, we expand cancer awareness and early detection far beyond our direct programs. What we do: • Training for teachers, counsellors, and healthcare workers • Volunteer training programs • Community leadership engagement Our goal: To create a community-level response system that supports early detection and awareness.
