The International Cancer Centre, Abuja (ICCA) is an initiative of the First Lady of Nigeria, Hajiya Turai Yar’Adua. Her fundamental aim of setting up the centre is to provide whole-person cancer treatment in a compassionate, nurturing environment using Wholesome Family Care, which is like giving the kind of care we would get from our own family members.
Once established, every patient at the ICCA is expected to meet with a multidisciplinary team of experienced professionals in various aspects of cancer research, diagnosis, treatment, and other specialties.
